Riding The Trains

Hi my name is Colin and this is the first post of the kids blog! For the first one I wanted to tell about the trains I’ve ridden.

This is the Boston train part. It took about 30 minutes to get to a subway station on the train. Then we transferred to the orange line and rode to Haymarket. The orange line is an underground train. It had wood floors and a little wood on the outside and it rocked back and forth while moving. It wasn’t as nice as the metro in DC but I still liked it. I liked it when the lights on the train flashed when pulling in.

We also rode the Metro in DC and I loved it! My favorite part was watching for headlights down the tracks and seeing the floor lights flashing when a metro was approaching.
